The Cascade House is located on a great site, approximately midway between the tourist attractions of Grand Marais and Lutsen. It is surrounded on three sides by Cascade River State Park and is two miles east of Cascade Lodge. From the house one has a panoramic view of Lake Superior while overlooking a strip of wooded land along the shore. 

The house has three bedrooms and can accommodate fourteen people. On the first floor is the kitchen, a dining room, living room with a fireplace, bathroom and two bedrooms. The second floor consists of one room with a double bed, two single beds and extra rollaways. The lower level has sleeping accommodations for five people, a sauna, whirlpool, laundry facilities and bathroom.
